Mathipedia.com is a site dedicated to making mathematics accessible to everyone in ways that are simple to understand and presented in different forms for different learning styles.
Mathipedia has a goal of providing resources that can be used by students, parents, and teachers free of charge without strict copyright restrictions. Here is what you will find on this site:
The Biology Corner is a resource site for biology and science teachers. It contains a variety of lessons, quizzes, labs, web quests, and information on science topics. You can find lessons related to biology topics in the links listed under "topics" on the sidebar. Topics include: Ecology, Genetics, Anatomy, Cells, Scientific Method, and Evolution. I do not at this time have answer keys for the worksheets posted, as students use this site to access their own homework and assignments.
Worksheets, study sheets, exams, and quizzes are basically collections of questions and answers, arranged in some particular order, and grouped by one or more categories.
Quizinator acts as a online resource library that organizes and manages these collections of questions, allowing you to group and categorize them in whatever way suits your needs.
When you want to create a new exam for example, select from your question library what you want, arrange the questions with drag and drop, and save.
Everything is conveniently centralized online. You can manage and print your documents and library components anytime, from any browser.
At Visionlearning, we've developed a set of peer-reviewed materials for learning science including modular readings, interactive multimedia, and a glossary - all available for free on the web in both English and Spanish. In our readings, we emphasize science as a process, not just a collection of facts. These resources can be used individually by anyone and can also be combined and customized within online classrooms by teachers. For more information, follow one of these paths into our site:
n Time & Place is a growing library of teaching materials for classroom, distance, or home use focusing on selected topics in American history. You will find many traditional reading, map, and photo related resources, but you will also find GIS (Geographic Information System) data and activities as well. All of the materials can be used individually or as a whole to build a unit on each topic in a way that best suits your and your students' needs.
