Is it useful to have a community forum? - 22 views

community network

When we were setting this up we thought that Diigo would be good as it allowed us to have a community space, rather than just be a group of individuals in a network on Delicious. Is this important? Or does it just mean that there is one more place to have to log in to check for comments and messages?

What is the right balance in this new world?

Yes, I agree that being able to comment on bookmarks is useful... but what about this forum? If we just follow each other's blogs is that enough?

seeing who else has tagged your bookmarks? - 35 views

One of the things that I like about delicious is seeing who has tagged the same things as me. How do I do that in Diigo?

    Thanks Natalie :)

Aim Because it deals with qualitative information, portfolio assessment inevitably involves some degree of subjectivity. The use of stricter assessment criteria or more structured and prescribed content would improve interrater reliability, but would obliterate the essence of portfolio assessment in terms of flexibility, personal orientation and authenticity. We resolved this dilemma by using qualitative research criteria as opposed to reliability in the evaluation of portfolio assessment

On December 11th 2008 it was hard to find people interested in medical education online. Hopefully when you read this it won't be!
Helping each other through social bookmarking is a great start. I'm looking forward to lots of discussion about the resources and papers we come across.
