Selon Microsoft, Twitter aurait été le deuxième terme le plus recherché sur son moteur Bing en 2009, devant la grippe porcine, mais derrière Michael Jackson. Yahoo, qui vient également de publier son top 10 des recherches les plus fréquentes, ne fait quant à lui pas mention du réseau social.
