Wow! Map of the world with placemarks for every newspaper. Provides options to translate the newspapers as well as to search. Colour coded in language. Click on the placemark and today's newspaper is displayed.
Neat little web 2.0 tool which allows facial features to be dragged across to virtual canvas. Features are in the style of Picasso painting. Some graphics functionality i.e. increase and decrease size, add colour, rotate and order. Could be good for integrating Art and Maths (flip). Could create a character and capture through SMART Notebook and use as basis for writing, descriptions, etc.
A wonderful example of how students can use PhotoStory to create a moving video profiling soldiers listed as missing following the battle of Fromelles. The students are from Year 9 at St Mary's Cathedral College.
