This blog post provides you with different tips of getting a teacher job. The question that was answered was "I am a new graduate filling out district applications. It seems to be difficult to get interviews. I am substitute teaching, but I would like suggestions on what else I can do to help myself get noticed by the districts?"

This link provides you with printables for goal setting in the classroom! Its a great way to start off to year and a fun decorative activity. Each students gets a chance to write down their goals for the year!

This activity was used for a literary activity, however I feel that this would be great for beginning of the year as well! Its a great way to get to know your students and to learn your students names quicker.

This link provides you with a powerpoint to create a wonderful flip book to give to parents during the first week of school! It can include anything from specials, daily schedule, homework, and classroom management. This is great for parents to understand your expectations!
