Presentazione (in inglese) della nuova interfaccia di Edmodo. Fatta benissimo, perché è interattiva: ogni icona di Edmodo è taggata con la spiegazione. In qualche caso ci sono filmati di ulteriore chiarimento. L'interfaccia è quella degli insegnanti (c'è la possibilità di cambiare il codice dei gruppi, a sinistra), ma i filmati di spiegazione si rivolgono anche agli studenti e possono essere da loro visti su YouTube.

Non è che capisca cosa significhi: ma è una pagina normalmente nascosta del blog about.amara.org il cui link mi è apparso in un momento di connessione lenta, e sembra una cosa interessante: infatti è da oltre un anno che i link sui codici temporali delle trascrizioni generate dai sottotitoli, che dovrebbero consentire la navigazione nel video, non funzionano. Perciò ben venga una trascrizione interattiva funzionante, come su TED.com, DotSUB.com e YouTube.com.

Grazie mille per questa segnalazione. Il software (Screencast-O-Matic) è gratuito e il videotutorial, in italiano, è chiarissimo. Davvero uno strumento essenziale.

Salman Khan parla molto in fretta, purtroppo, ma la sua storia è molto interessante. La Khan Academy funziona veramente. Circa 200 video sono stati tradotti anche in italiano e hanno aiutato mia figlia a superare più di un ostacolo in matematica. Li consiglio senz'altro! Un aspetto molto interessante di questo video consiste nella chiarissima spiegazione di cosa sia la "flipped classroom".
