Wow! I used the Picnik app for Firefox to create a screenshot, and it was so easy! If you use Firefox, the Picnik add-on is worth looking into if you need to generate screenshots often.

For those with creative flare, Aviary is an extraordinary photo editing and graphic design tool. It takes a bit of trial and error, but Aviary can produce some amazing creations using your everyday photos.

Online video conferencing....the simple way. I have been playing with a few options, and Tokbox might be an interesting tool to use with some of your more teckie students. I'll be happy to test it with any of you if you'd like to experiment a but.

Great site to help create in-class material using Internet sources. You have control over what to include from the website and what to delete. It's great for eliminating ads, uncecessary pictures...irrelevant text etc... A formatting treasure.

Excellent productivity and collaboration applications. One of the great things about opening a Zoho account is that you can access your documents from any computer, anywhere.

Google apps offers something similar. I use i google the same way. I would like to add these kinds of collections to my list of proposal topics. They are very easy to use, not intimidating and really add to ones productivity. I've even had my students create igoogle accounts with different tabs for L/W/R pronunciation and vocabulary. It gives them a little ownership and something they can continue to use after the program/course has ended.

I LOVE this website. You can create online books for free, and share them with your students, or if you have a bigger picture in mind, ....the world. If you have a website, you can also embed the wobook on your site for all to access. Best of all, it's free. Just open an account and let your creativity loose.

Great chat program, that allows the option of embedding their widget in your website or blog. I used it for a Wetpaint wiki I created recently, and it allows people visiting the website to chat with me when I am on.

I still haven't made it through this list. I keep getting sidetracked by interesting articles. I hope I finish before the 2009 review comes out . .
