Character Counts! / Building Relationships with Students - 0 views

  •
One of a teacher's most powerful tools is the relationships he/she builds with students. Those relationships allow teachers to motivate students while they (teachers) model and promote positive character attributes. While it is easy to say, "Build relationships," it is not always easy to do. One of the greatest challenges to teachers is carving out time for connections without sacrificing instructional minutes. To address the time issue, strategies for building relationships must be embeded in the instruction.

And you are entitled to construct your own version, too, within some parameters. My suggestion is to study many of the great resources that are available to you and then create your own working definition and effective PBL practice. (I've included some of my favourite resources below.)
