Nokia, the leading mobile maker company, now has finally made a decision to rename ditch all name connected to the Symbian trademark, and it will rename its Symbian Belle, smartphone operating system to Nokia Belle.

"It looks like Nokia could be set for its best Marty McFly impression by going 'Back to the Future' and launching a new Symbian smartphone, despite having ditched the platform in favour of Windows Phone technology."

"If you've been waiting patiently for the mid-range Symbian-powered Nokia 600, then brace yourself, we've got some bad news. It's been cancelled. It's bereft of life, it rests in peace. Announced back in August alongside the 700 and 701, it was scheduled to be one of the very first handsets to feature Symbian Belle."

Nokia has just come up with its latest Nokia Belle update for older Nokia handsets, which runs on Symbian OS. The company has integrated a few things in this version with many novel features such as a new user interface and enhanced overall performance.

Nokia, the biggest successor of its newly launched Windows Phones the Lumia 710 and the Lumia 800 smartphones. Now the company has unveiled that they have included a latest aspect labeled 360Cities to the Nokia Maps app for Symbian platform.

Nokia, the world's largest mobile maker in units has announced its two latest smartphones dubbed Nokia C5-05 and Nokia C5-06, which will run on Symbian operating system, news reveled.

Nokia prior to two years went through a big modification, saying goodbye to its traditional Symbian routes and shifting to MS' Windows Phone OS. In that time where it moved towards top-notch segment, the Finnish firm also revealed a straightforward reserve OS that is named Asha, which created different types of low-ranged phones.

"The new Nokia 808 PureView was one of the most exciting phones to be announced during Mobile World Congress this year, but many who may have been interested in its 41 megapixel camera could have been put off by the Symbian operating system."

Opera has unveiled its latest version of web browser for smartphone and tablet, Opera Mini 6.5 and Opera Mobile 11.5. Both versions are currently available to download for iOS, BlackBerry, MeeGo, Symbian and Maemo platforms.

Nokia had released its Transport application for the Symbian Belle powered smartphones last year and the company has now made the app available in beta phase for its Windows-based Lumia smartphones.

"When Nokia pulled the covers off the 808 PureView camera phone during its Mobile World Congress press conference, the initial reaction was 'wow, 41 megapixels!' This was followed by 'oh, it's a shame it's running Symbian.'"
