Scholastic KWL Chart - 0 views

  •
The scholastic website provides a multitude of resources and activities for teacher and students to use. Some include technology tools, organizers, and templates. One template in particular, KWL chart, allows students to sort through information by aid of a graphic organizer. In the "K" column of the chart, students are able to indicate what they already know about the chosen topic. In the "W" column, students are welcome to write down what they want to learn about the key topic. Then once new information was learned and questions answered, students have the opportunity to write down what they learned in the "L" column.

This site is easy to use! It is a great place for students to show what they have learned after a lesson, to raise questions about content that might be confusing to them and/or they want to know more about, and to read and respond to their peers' thoughts. It is a great substitute for the "exit" slip at the conclusion of a lesson.
