9 Great Animation and Video Creation Tools Integrated with YouTube for Teachers - 2 views

  •
"You might have wondered how those beautiful animated videos you see on YouTube are made. Sometimes you think people use expensive software ( well some do especially advertising companies ) but most of them are created using simple and free tools but with so much of creativity. Today I am introducing you to an awesome set of tools that are integrated into youTube and that will allow you to easily create videos without needing cameras or having to upload files or do any editing. They are very self explanatory and you can have a great video to share with your students in less than 10 minutes."

The Kid Should See This. - 11 views

"There's just so much science, nature, music, arts, technology, storytelling and assorted good stuff out there that my kids (and maybe your kids) haven't seen. It's most likely not stuff that was made for them...

But we don't underestimate kids around here.

Off the grid-for-little-kids videos and other smart stuff collected by Rion Nakaya and her three year old co-curator."

Collect several YouTube videos on this cube. Can be used for presentations too.
YouCube is a little project I've put together over the last two days. It allows you to map YouTube videos onto an interactive 3D cube and then save it to a database so you can show your friends. As you spin around a YouCube, the sounds of the different videos fade in and out. Its fun!

Visit the YouCube page and get cracking!

"Vook is a relatively new tool Internet entrepreneur by Bradley Inman. With the idea to combine books and videos, Vook brings these media forms together. With content from great writers and professional videos by filmmakers from TurnHere, Vook brings its customers the best. Great books and films can finally come together all in one place. "

Web-based Video Transcoding - A Beautiful Sight! » Moving at the Speed of Cre... - 0 views

Presenters in our 2009 conference are following a new set of procedures to DIRECTLY upload their files to both DotSub and Blip.tv, where their videos are converted / transcoded into Flash versions (on both sites) and into m4v (iPod compatible video) and mp3 (audio only) formats on Blip. Use of these two websites as the exclusive sources for presentations this year may pose more accessibility issues for teachers at schools where content filters block most or all video sharing sites like these. For that reason, organizers have created an accessibility survey we invite you to take and share your experiences this year accessing K-12 Online Conference materials both at work and at home.
