I'm trying to amass a list of programming books that are freely available on the Internet. The books can be about a particular programming language or about computers in general.

Recently we tried something new at Treehouse and it's working wonderfully well, so I thought I'd share the secret with you. Microsoft and Pizza Hut have partnered up to launch a pioneer app for Xbox Live that will allow users to order from the chain's menu directly through their Xbox 360. A giant-mantis robot with hydraulic legs has been unveiled by a hobbyist who spent four years creating it.
