"iRig PRE is the first high-quality microphone preamp designed specifically for iOS devices that allows musicians to use their favorite high-quality stage or studio mics with their iOS device."
"[The iPad] it's the first device that actually is a reflection of me - or us. It's so revolutionary that it's no longer about me adapting myself to somebody else's set of programmings or the way in which a device is going to engage. It is the reverse. It is as though I'm looking in a mirror."
I love this description because it encapsulates what should be the crux of any mobile learning strategy. That is, recognizing that mobile content delivery should be fully controlled by the learner. In other words, what content the learner wants; where and when they want it; and how they want it delivered - with no constraints.

"Welcome to the world of the iPad! I hope that you, like I have, will find this amazing device transforming in your approach to the utilization of technology for teaching and learning. Whether you are currently using iPads in your school or for yourself...or if you are just beginning to explore the possibilities, I hope you will find resources here to benefit you in your journey. Enjoy this site, share the information with others, and feel free to contact me with any questions or to share your experiences! Below are some of my "musings" as I reflect on where we currently are in our journey with the utilization of technology with our students. Enjoy!"

"Using Blooms Taxonomy in education is a highly effective way to scaffold learning for the students. With the recent popularity and pervasive nature of iOS devices in school districts it is essential for educators to understand how to implement Blooms in the classroom using the apps that are available.
While this list is by no means fully comprehensive, it will assist educators in getting started when implementing iOS devices in the classroom.
This site will change almost daily as it will be updated with new and exciting apps!
If you find any that you have worked with in your classroom please email dmileham@e1b.org or tweet @bloomsapps with your suggestions. Thanks for checking the site! "
"Today while browsing @tonyvincent 's blog I noticed a cool tool that he was using to share his favorite IOS apps. Appsfire is a place for you to create a list of your favorite apps as well as find other apps that you may like. Appsfire also allows you to "Follow" a search term for updates in the future. You can also limit your search to free only apps. Another great feature of the site is the ability to share your "Device" on social networks. You can also add your device to your blog."
"While many are still skeptical about adopting mobile devices as a dedicated educational tool, I've come to find over the past month or so that, given the right applications, your smartphone/tablet can become the saving grace in a hectic college student's day-to-day routine. For those college students out there toting an iOS device such as an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, here are some of the best apps I've found for helping you make it through the semester. "

"We want to serve the needs of a person with dyslexia or ADHD, an outdoor classroom with mobile Devices, a user in the developing world without high-speed internet, a kindergartner, or an elderly lifelong learner." (Read more)
With that goal in mind, we'll be releasing a Mobile App this fall for the iPad®/iPhone®/iPod touch® that will provide the same experience of creating and collaborating around your content on your Mobile device that you would experience in the web-based application... and we're pretty excited about that!
Take a look, and tell us what you think.

"There are plenty of stories out there about schools that have already launched large-scale iPad programs or that are considering them for next year. Many U.S. school districts have yet to determine an iPad strategy, however, and are still moving forward cautiously."
