The Stock market show strong closing at the end of the day, Sensex up 219.39 point at 27396.38 while Nifty up 71.80 points at 8285.60. Banks perform very well at last moment just before the closing time, ICICI bank were 8 percent up in support Axis and SBI both were 2 percent up in a banking segment.

24 April Sensex falls over 100 pts; banks drag, ONGC supports The stock market trading shows bearish behavior; Sensex falls 116 points in early trade while nifty down arond the 50 points dragged by financial & banking sector and infrastructure. Sensex traded at 27620.73, High - 27829.11, Low - 27578.45 Nifty traded at 8354.00, High - 8413.30, Low - 8342.60 Shares of HDFC, Infosys, Axis Bank, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, HUL, M&M, Cipla and Bajaj Auto fell 1-2 percent followed by ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank with marginal loss. However, ITC and ONGC bucked the trend, rising over a percent and show gains in stock market trading.

The stock market has opened on a base level note. The Sensex is up 26.32 points at 27987.51, and the Nifty is up 10.95 points at 8470.60. Around 457 shares have propelled, 107 shares declined, and 68 shares are unaltered. Dr Reddy's Labs, L&T, Vedanta, Cipla and ICICI Bank are top gainers. HDFC Bank, BHEL, ONGC, Wipro and Lupin are among losers. In the midcap space, IIFL is up 18 percent as Fairfax India will get 26 percent for Rs1,621 crore.

About 495 shares have advanced, 278 shares declined, and 71 shares are unchanged on the BSE. GAIL, Lupin and Wipro lost 1-3 percent post first quarter earnings. Drug maker company Lupin rises more than 2 percent after acquired the Russian based pharma company Balcom, which leds other pharma company Cipla, Dr Reddy's lab and Sun pharma up more than 1 percent up.

The Sensex increased 109.45 points at 27683.11 and the Nifty rose 30.05 points to 8358.60. The BSE Midcap file propelled 0.4 percent and Smallcap climbed 0.6 percent. The stock market broadness stayed positive as around 1303 shares have progressed against 491 shares declined on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

MCX SILVER December contract was trading at Rs 34615 down Rs 10, or 0.03 percent. The SILVER rate touched an intraday high of Rs 34678 and an intraday low of Rs 34580. So far 1054 contract have been traded. SILVER prices have moved down Rs 4505, or 11.52 percent in the December contract as such.
