The Indian rupee opened on 63.51 with 21 paise weak against per dollar on Thursday. As per the India Forex report, it may touch the 64 in near future. Extending its slide for the second straight day on Thursday, the rupee breached the 64 mark by falling 35 paise to 64.25 against the dollar in early trade on sustained capital outflows by foreign funds amid appreciation of the American currency against others overseas.

Crude Oil prices rose in Asia on Thursday but remain subdued by concerns about the impact on demand from the stock market rout in China and Greece's debt crisis, analysts said. Robust commercial crude inventories in the United States added to the pressure in the commodity face of a supply glut, they said.

Gold prices firmed as the dollar softened, while investors remained cautious ahead of Greece's referendum on an international bailout deal. Base Metal Silver prices gained ground as the release of downbeat U.S. economic reports on Thursday dampened demand for the greenback.

The stock market has opened level on Thursday after enormous offer off in yesterday . The Sensex is up 5.30 points at 27693.02 and the Nifty is up 1.80 points at 8364.85. Around 377 shares have propelled, 118 shares declined, and 66 shares are unaltered. Hindalco, GAIL, Tata Steel, Infosys and Coal India are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the washouts are Bajaj Auto, HDFC Bank, HUL and NTPC.

The market failed to rebound on Thursday despite upside in Asian markets and further upmove in European markets. The Indian share market stopped falling after four consecutive sessions, today's both the major indices are trade higher in early trading session on Thursday. The commodity MCX contract of Crude Oil Futures for May is closed on Thursday at a price of 4577 rupees per barrel and Showed a Downfall of 6% in the market. The commodity contract opened this morning at a flat price of 4975 Rs and made the intraday high with same level with a last traded price of 4444 Rs which is Fall by 133 rupees after an intraday low of 4219.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will conduct a special session for 'Muhurat Trading' on Thursday (October 23) on account of Diwali.
