Gold futures in the global market edged down on Friday amid some positive economic data releases from around the globe and concerns that whether US Central Bank continue with its monetary stimulus or not. The stock market has opened lower but started to gain its strength, Sense is up 71.45 points at 27.562.05 and Nifty is up 19.25 points at 8351.20. HDFC, ITC, Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Cipla, NTPC and Coal India lost 1-2 percent while Tata Steel topped the buying list on Sensex, up 3.4 percent.

Sensex and Nifty beneath the bar level, Stock market trading show sluggish movements in Tuesday morning session, Sensex is down 44.32 points to 27642.98 and Nifty is down 14.95 points to 8358.60 level. Specific stocks to focus on today for various reasons are Suzlon Energy, ONGC, EROS, NIIT Tech, Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel and Power.

The Stock market has opened flat. The BSE Sensex is down 9.19 points at 28058.12 and the NSE Nifty is up 11.40 points at 8529.95. Around 451 shares have propelled, 216 shares declined, and 78 shares are unaltered. Hindalco, SBI, Sun Pharma, Wipro and Tata Steel are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Dr Reddy's Labs, Tata Motors, Hero, L&T and ONGC.

Stocks of Reliance industries, HDFC, L&T, ITC, ONGC, Wipro, Bharti Airtel and Vedanta added 1-2 percent. Hindalco jump 2 percent as LIC raised the stocks in the Company. However, BHEL, Tata motors, Cipla and HUL fell 0.3-1 percent, The Indian rupee has opened with slight gain of 5 paise at 63.68 per dollar today compared to previous day's closing.

The 30 shares BSE Sensex is down 72 points to 26514.55 while 50 share NSE Nifty is down 19.80 points to 7994.60. We also see ambiguity among the investors due to Greece worries to invest in the stock market on the global cues. The market is down and dragged by private banking & financial, metals & oil. Reports Q1 (Mar) earnings of $2.02 per share, $0.52 better than the Thomson Reuters consensus of $1.50; revenues rose 59.9% year/year to $189.6 mln vs the $180.1 mln consensus. Co issues upside guidance for Q2, sees Q2 revs of $268.1-274.0 mln vs. $240.07 mln Thomson Reuters consensus. Online marketing revenues for the first quarter of 2010 were RMB1.293 billion ($189.5 million), representing a 59.6% increase from the corresponding period in 2009. Baidu had around 221,000 active online marketing customers in the first quarter of 2010, representing a 19.5% increase from the corresponding period in 2009 and a 0.9% decrease from the previous quarter. Revenue per online marketing customer for the first quarter was approximately RMB5,900 ($864), a 34.1% increase from the corresponding period in 2009 and a 3.5% increase from the previous quarter. Traffic acquisition costs (TAC) as a component of cost of revenues were RMB171.3 million ($25.1 million), representing 13.2% of total revenues, as compared to 15.3% in the corresponding period in 2009 and 16.0% in the fourth quarter of 2009. The decrease in TAC as a percentage of total revenues reflects initiatives to drive quality improvements on Baidu Union traffic. Co also announces a 10:1 ADS split.

Bank Nifty Futures shut stop at 10967.15, up 19.85 points or 0.18 %. It is looking bullish in the coming trading session if it manages to trade above the resistance level of 11184 else below 10780 it might be in a bearish trend.

The commodity MCX prices for copper settled above the short term moving average suggesting bullish mode for the coming day.
