Spot silver prices gave crucial breakdown below $26.5 on Weekly close. Prices have already given breakdown below long term trend line in weekly. Prices are expected to target $22.7 which is 261.8% Fibonacci retracement level of consolidation from $35.4 to $30.5 which earlier halted at 161.8% Fibonacci retracement around $28.10%. Precious metals prices rose in unison with equities and commodities on Friday, notching a weekly gain, after U.S. nonfarm payrolls data showed modest job growth in January. SILVER prices on MCX declined. At 11:07 hrs MCX SILVER March contract was trading at Rs 58282 down Rs 136, or 0.23%. MCX Silver Price Today: SILVERMIC prices on MCX slipped. At 15:50 hrs MCX SILVERMIC February contract was trading at Rs 57283 down Rs 408, or 0.71%. The SILVERMIC rate touched an intraday high of Rs 57630 and an intraday low of Rs 57250. So far 38590 contracts have been traded. Commodity Market Trading Tips Crude oil prices rose on Monday despite disappointing trade data from China that showed a sharp drop in exports and a narrower trade surplus than expected. Oil prices moved up on Monday following a strong session on Friday, as traders highered their bets on higher prices amid a slowdown in US drilling, but analysts warned fundamentals remained weak. MCX SILVER July contract was trading at Rs 37070 down Rs 100, or 0.27 percent. The SILVER price touched an intraday high of Rs 37200 and an intraday low of Rs 37070. So far 14 contracts have been traded. SILVER prices have moved down Rs 1808, or 4.65 percent in the July series so far.

Last week, MCX silver traded in the range of 38536-41334. The commodity crashed tracking gold prices. COMEX silver also witnessed a bear rally to lower levels. November 25, 2011, Los Angeles - Gold bullion prices rose in light trading 0.18 percent or $3.00 to close at $1,694.50 an ounce on Thursday, as France and Germany agreed to halt bickering in public over whether the European Central Bank (ECB) should do more to rescue the eurozone from its widening debt crisis. The price of Silver advanced 0.38 percent or $0.12 to close at $31.80 an ounce while the Gold/Silver ratio, the number of ounces of Silver it takes to buy one ounce of Gold, edged down to 53.29 as Silver outperformed Gold.

Gold futures declined on Monday, as strength in the dollar and worries that the US Federal Reserve will ease back on its easy monetary policy, pushed precious metals prices down for the third straight session.
