    El énfasis del módulo se fundamenta en las preocupaciones centrales, en las temáticas de la investigación educativa reciente y en las estrategias metodológicas más utilizadas, sin entrar a analizar la metodología de la investigación en sí, ya que, en lo que a paradigmas metodológicos y a la lógica de la investigación se refiere, no se dan diferencias significativas en relación con la investigación social. Tampoco existen diferencias con respecto a las herramientas estadísticas utilizadas por la investigación social y sicológica.
