Is a collection of woods from different corners of the world; a series launched with the aim of collecting as many different kinds of wood as possible: a tribute to all the woods of the world. The collection currently comprises seven woods from as many regions with different climates and geographical positions, marking the start of a project that will be expanded over time with new plant species.
There are thousands of different types of wood, only a few of which are used in architecture. The rareness of some species plus their remote habitats, size and delicate nature, are just a few of the difficulties that mankind has had to deal with in choosing wood for buildings. Today, thanks to developments in ceramic tile technology, we have succeeded in entering new dimensions, drawing inspiration from the living planet like never before. We have a rich heritage in the huge variety of trees and shrubs, and Millelegni aims to achieve that richness in the aesthetic characteristics typical of the countries of origin.
One of the least frequently remodeled room in a house is the kitchen, people will redo their bedrooms and closets three times over before even thinking about the kitchen because once a kitchen been designed and eaten/ cooked in a few times, it develops a certain feel. You never change things around because a place where you cook or eat needs to feel familiar as opposed to new.
