On June 11, 2009, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that it had declared "Level 6" pandemic emergency with regard to the "swine flu." Shortly thereafter, on cue, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that we should expect mass vaccination in this country to begin as early as September, 2009. We have been covering the development of the global pandemic preparedness machinery in The IO since June, 1998. It is our belief that this machine has been in motion since March 28, 2009 and will not be stopped; that the global influenza pandemic the CDC and WHO have been predicting (planning) for at least a decade will be declared-whether people are pandemically sick and dying or not-and the global mass vaccination campaign for which they have been preparing since the 1970s swine flu fiasco will commence-soon. On July 30, Infowars reported on an Illinois Army National Guard plan to put Armored Security Vehicles on the streets. "A Springfield-based military police company will be training with a new armored vehicle in the area this week," the Associated Press reported. "The Illinois Army National Guard says training with the new Armored Security Vehicles will start Thursday and run through Sunday."

Even more troubling than the new vaccines or antivirals themselves, is the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) declared by the FDA, which enables the use of expired stockpiles of Tamiflu or Relenza, and non-compliance with label requirements. The EUA authority will also permit the FDA to allow the use of "unapproved or uncleared medical products" during an established emergency.
