Unless the Dept. of Justice re-invokes their twice-invoked "state secrets privilege" claim in order to once again gag former FBI translator-turned-whistleblower Sibel Edmonds, her attorneys have notified the department by hand-delivered, sworn letter of declaration [PDF] this week, that she intends to give a deposition, open to the media [Updated: see bottom of article for details], in response to a subpoena this Saturday in Washington D.C
Also found at the home of Daniel Patrick Boyd and his sons were gas masks and a book that FBI special agent Michael Sutton called "essentially our playbook to how we respond to acts of terrorism."
In 2007, Boyd's 16-year-old son, Luqman, was killed in a car crash.
"I had already been through this two years prior," she said.

She said authorities took her, her daughter and pregnant daughter-in-law to the hospital, where she learned that her husband and sons had not been in a car accident and were not injured.
"When we got to the hospital, they brought us around back, separated us, handcuffed us, including my eight-month pregnant daughter[-in-law], and were very rude and then told us, 'They're not dying; they're detained. And you better cooperate with us.' "
