Today, The S&P BSE Sensex unlocked on a flat note in morning trade, led by gains in HDFC, ITC, HDFC, Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel. The Nifty50 unlocked flat, but was still trading above its critical support level of 7,900, supported by gains in power, metal, realt, and capital goods stocks.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was trying to hold the 18,000 level amid choppy trade. The upmove in Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, l&T and SBI counterbalanced the weakness in HDFC pack, metals stocks, HDFC, Tata Motors and ITC.

Falling for the fifth straight day, the BSE benchmark Sensex today closed 20 points lower after wiping out initial gains on a bout of profit-selling in bluechips like NTPC, CIl, ICICI Bank and l&T. The Indian stock market Sensex pared some of its gains after rallying 140 points in early trade on Tuesday. This rally is the result of gains in Tata Motors, l&T, Sesa Sterlite and Bharti Airtel. Nifty Tips Sensex and Nifty comes down 26,500 and 7900 . However the market still have some good growth. The Midcap and Smallcap stocks have seen spectacular growth. At 11 am , the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 0.29 per cent or with a gain of 76.27 points and is trading at a level of 26,467. The NSE 50-share Nifty index gained 23.15 points at the level of 7897.
