Good Morning dear readers, the Indian market starts trade this morning on a flat note and with a negative bias. Earlier, the US markets closed marginally higher with the Dow gaining 45 and Nasdaq 37 odd points while Asia is in the red at this hour. Markets are likely to remain soft for some more time and may correct to levels closer to 4,800 on the Nifty over the next few sessions.

Crude oil futures were trading lower during early morning trade in the domestic market on Friday as investors and speculators continued to cut risky bets in the energy commodity amidst heightened fears over a worsening supply glut in the global oil market. US crude supplies climbed for the seventh week on the trot, up by 4.22 million barrels last week, the EIA said, adding that supplies of the fuel in the world's biggest oil consumer

Bank Nifty ended yesterday flat at 12,396.40 after a volatile trade since morning post media website Cobrapost once again alleged prestigious banks facilitating money laundering. Cobrapost today alleged that 23 banks including public sector banks like State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank and insurance companies allowed money laundering. On Friday Bank Nifty lost 2.5 percent while BSE Bankex was down 2.4 percent after RBI cut repo rate by 25 basis points in its annual policy but said that there was very little scope for futher monetary easing... Asian markets were cautious in morning trade on Monday. Chinese manufacturing data showed a continued slowdown in factory activity, China's official Purchasing Managers' Index for June came in at 50.1, slightly better than the of 50, but still a decline from May's reading of 50.8. Further the market closed with a sharp hike on last week's Friday which later opened lethargy on Monday morning. Sensex was up by 9 points at nine o'clock in the morning on Monday opening 17,439 and Nifty opened 5 points up at 528.

The market bias is still on the upside. My estimated levels were 5,650 for the Nifty and a close at that level is imminent. So, tomorrow if the markets actually slide below that then there will be no buying. We will wait patiently for this slide or correction to end.
