Natural gas futures moved sharply lower during U.S. trade Wednesday, as market players looked ahead to Thursday's closely watched U.S. government report on natural gas supplies.

Natural gas fell 0.5 percent and traded around Rs 200. Crude oil is trading at Rs 3575 moved up 1 percent. Gold is flat and is traded at Rs 26600. Silver moved up 0.5 percent and trading at Rs 36300. Except copper all metals have good gains. Copper is flat and trading around Rs 407.

Early injection estimates for Thursday's storage data range from 52 billion cubic feet to 77 billion cubic feet, compared to last year's build of 95 billion cubic feet. The five-year average change for the week is an increase of 65 billion cubic feet.

Natural gas trading range for the day is 168.73-171.93. Market is looking to take support at 169.7, a break below could see a test of 168.7 and resistance is likely to be seen at 171.3, a move above could see prices testing 171.9.
