Indian stock exchanges have declared the list of holidays for 2022 and this year there are 13 exchange holidays in total, the rest 8 falling on a Saturday or a Sunday. Here's the list of trading holidays for the calendar year 2022 for equity and F&O segments:

The Exchange operates the following sub-segments in the Equities segment: 1. Rolling Settlement 2. Limited Physical Market 3. Settlement Cycle 1. Rolling Settlement: In a rolling settlement, each trading day is considered as a trading period and trades executed during the day are settled based on the net obligations for the day. At NSE, trades in rolling settlement are settled on a T+2 basis i.e. on the 2nd working day. For arriving at the settlement day all intervening holidays, which include bank holidays, NSE holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are excluded.
