The LA Board of Education will be meeting later this month to discuss providing iPads to every student + teacher in the nation's 2nd largest school system.
In the beginning, they had a great environment in the classroom using the online software. Later, as more classrooms/users began using online program simultaneously the network failed.

Are you speaking of Digital Promise? It reminds me of whatworks.ed.gov but it looks like it might be designed better. I don't believe whatworks.ed.gov ever got much traction.
