Chip making stocks ended the first week of June lower. They still managed to outperform the broad market, entering the week with the tailwind of the WSTS report and a VLSIresearch report of IC sales and electronics sales activity in the last week of May. By Thursday's close, chip making stocks held a weekly gain of more than 1%. However, the mood turned sour on Friday. Taiwan posted mixed results. The wind turbine is placed on an edge of an industrial building to exploit the energy that comes from strong updrafts - also called the speed-up effect. According to Jakob Andersen, the inventor of the new horizontal wind turbine and founder of EdgeFlow, the speed-up effect increases the wind speed by up to 70% in certain directions meaning an increase in energy of up to 400%.

The project is based on a gradual introduction of hydrogen-powered fuel cell buses and aims to set up bus fleets with fuel cell vehicles and the necessary infrastructure.

The Solar Impulse is the brain child of Bertrand Piccard, a Swiss adventurer and environmentalist, who launched the project back in 2003 with the aim of promoting the use of renewable energy sources.
