Awesome site for Blogging - things to remember when teaching students how to respond. There is even a pdf file available that the teacher has created. On this paper, students are given sample blog responses and discuss whole class whether they would approve the comment.

I wish I would have seen this post yesterday. I had to reteach blogging to our book club group. Mainly, I feel the time constraint/computer issues we had the first two weeks set us back. However, I did something similar to this actually handwriting responses on the white board. The number of posts and details within the post increased dramatically.

Money Word extension - this is similar to the other one I posted, only in this game, students make up words and determine their money value. Extension.

Comments4Kids is a way for students and teachers to find blogs to comment on and to get their own posts commented on.

Check out this classes blog posts for a great example of kid blogging. This is the classroom of a teacher in my PLP. It's helpful to see examples.

Students can create a fake facebook page. Great for researching a famous person - what would their posts look like? Who would their friends be?

Student inspires teachers to use tech - recommended at IU 13 workshop ...haven't watched yet...dangerous posting :)

I didn't realize this website was shared already. Glad it was though. I like how Diigo groups multiple posts.

This is a fun game that requires students to first identify the type of sentence and then capitalize and punctuate the sentence.

Thanks Kim! I used this site in the past, but the post reminded me of it - I have a few students that would really benefit from this, thanks!
