The way women are treated in comparison to men in work.

This article shows how Australia is trying its best to aid the Women's Right department and introduce financial aids, safety, violence prevention and granting more space on the parliamentary seats to be granted more say in decision making. It is noteworthy how they are doing this because they know that in order for a country to reach it's full potential, it has to maximize the use of human resources in the country. 

This article mentions how there is a 10% pay gap between men and women due to the few variety of jobs that women occupy. In order to fix this problem of gender gap in the work place, the EU is planning to increase number of women on boards of business. 

This post will be the first of a two part series on gender inequality in the United States. Gender inequality is defined as the disparity in status, power and prestige between people who identify as women and men. Today I will look at how gender inequality still exists in the United States, despite our frequent unwillingness to acknowledge it.

Gender equality is guaranteed in the Cambodian Constitution which prohibits all forms of discrimination against women (Article 45). Both men and women should have equal opportunity to exercise their civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights.
