Obama to Iran and Israel: 'As President of the United States, I Don't Bluff' - Atlantic... - 0 views

That is geopolitically interesting to realize that the US could not "successfully" contain a nuclear Iran: whatever this mean in case of a nuclear attack on the US territory!
  • It will not be tolerable to a number of states in that region for Iran to have a nuclear weapon and them not to have a nuclear weapon. Iran is known to sponsor terrorist organizations, so the threat of proliferation becomes that much more severe." He went on to say, "The dangers of an Iran getting nuclear weapons that then leads to a free-for-all in the Middle East is something that I think would be very dangerous for the world."
  • "At a time when there is not a lot of sympathy for Iran and its only real ally, [Syria,] is on the ropes, do we want a distraction in which suddenly Iran can portray itself as a victim?"

Well, how can President Obama be so naive about the intend of Iran and its nuclear program? not in its best interest? laughable comment, which does not mean a thing to peace threatening Iranian government beside their propaganda on "peaceful Iran"!
  • Iran's nuclear program represents a Holocaust-scale threat to the Jewish state, and the Jewish people,
  • my top five foreign-policy concerns since I came into office.
  • We are going to continue to apply pressure until Iran takes a different course.
  • Is there some ramping-up of the rhetoric you're going to give them?

referring to the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) refers to France, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, United States, and People's Republic of China.
  • outrageous language that has been directed toward Israel by the leaders of the Iranian government

This statement is shocking! That Mr. Obama's administration does NOT understand the profound crisis in the Middle East and assesses the situation as "Do whatever you want for your own security" type of attitude!
  • ultimately, the Israeli prime minister and the defense minister and others in the government have to make their decisions about what they think is best for Israel's security, and I don't presume to tell them what is best for them.
  • the prime minister and I come out of different political traditions
  • This is one of the few times in the history of U.S.-Israeli relations where you have a government from the right in Israel at the same time you have a center-left government in the United States, and so I think what happens then is that a lot of political interpretations of our relationship get projected onto this.
  • I think that in the end, Israel's leaders will make determinations based on what they believe is best for the security of Israel, and that is entirely appropriate.

Kraft Foods Dishes Out Its Recipe for Successful Content Marketing - Forbes - 0 views

That's how we get our community setup, involved and encouraged to participate!! They become part of the Family and real COMPANY ADVOCATES
  • We believe the key lies in understanding what consumers really truly want/need. So we’re concentrating our consumer engagement on key touch points: kraftrecipes.com, our Recipe By Email program, food&family magazine, the Kraft First Taste community (our word of mouth marketing program), mobile experiences.
  • We’re also engaging even more directly with our consumers by leveraging social media and stimulating a participatory culture.

  • Content is the “what” and the overall channel mix is the “how”. Content can’t be separated from context or experience – it’s integral. It’s an ingredient in everything we do. And frankly, because LoMoSo (local/mobile/social) are all so close to the consumer, they are as important to driving content as they are to distributing it.
  • A recent example is Pinterest. We’ve been monitoring the site for almost a year to determine what was resonating with consumers. We saw that consumers were sharing a huge number of our recipes on Pinterest, because the content and the environment were made for each other. So we followed our consumers’ lead and joined the conversation. We added the Pin It button to our site to make it easier for consumers to share our recipes and we created our own boards that gave us a place to share in the conversation ourselves.

Kraft observed FIRST what customers and prospect are doing on PINTEREST (OUTBOUND MRKTG) and then created its boards according their followers! Brilliant strategy!!
  • “what is your basis of conversation?” What do you as a brand have to offer that matters to consumers?
  • What are you going to provide to make them want to come back to you again and again?
  • The key in content marketing is in understanding what consumers really truly want/need and in providing it to them in the method, time and place of their choice. You can’t only be good at one or the other – you have to nail both.
