Listen to runner up band from Mt. SAC's 1st Annual Battle of the Bands. They surpassed 14 other bands to finish in the 2nd spot. This says a lot about how good a band that has only been together for five months. Personally, I was disappointed they didn't win the BOTB event. Talent scouts were more interested in FOREWALLS than any other performer. `Mammút is an Icelandic band and the featured artist of the week. While many listeners outside of Iceland may not understand a single lyric, make no mistake, they do speak the universal language of awesome rock music. This weeks artist spotlight is with a rock band from Jacksonville, FL. I briefly spoke to the band due to their hectic schedules with the current CD release, recording time, and concerts it s been a tough time getting them to speak to me. They did give me a brief bio and the new songs before it was even released to the public, so that was awesome!

This weeks featured artist is The Analog Affair. With 40 tracks and four EP's within a span of 2 years, Evan Baker and Cody Moser have produced some of most creative and most beautiful library of ambient styles of music that ties electronica, dark gothic, eletro-pop, contemporary, trance, and indie rock together. Each vocal song is charged with emotional lyrics with some smooth electro instrumentals.
