For a long time, Spotify is known as a streaming music platform. More than 172 million premium subscribers worldwide listen to the music on that streaming service. In the wave of podcasts, Spotify has invested the podcast shows in recent years. And now, Spotify is home to some of the best podcasts. Spotify covers a wide range of podcasts topics, from food and culture to true crime, sports, and current events. You can listen online with a free account, and download episodes to listen offline with a premium subscription of $9.99 per month. But if you have regard for the payment, you can actually download Spotify podcasts without premium.

This weeks artist spotlight is with a rock band from Jacksonville, FL. I briefly spoke to the band due to their hectic schedules with the current CD release, recording time, and concerts it s been a tough time getting them to speak to me. They did give me a brief bio and the new songs before it was even released to the public, so that was awesome!

`Mammút is an Icelandic band and the featured artist of the week. While many listeners outside of Iceland may not understand a single lyric, make no mistake, they do speak the universal language of awesome rock music. They have a distinct Icelandic sound, but are similar to the Iceland band, The Sugarcubes and Bjork with an alternative rock kick.
