College Board ACCUPLACER tests provide students with useful information about academic skills in math, English, and reading. Resource for students from the College Board.

It presents findings, recommendations and resources to assist the community colleges in improving the success of academically vulnerable students within and beyond developmental education. Hawaii Community College Achieving the Dream 2009 Data - Profile, Notes, Reports, Charts

This resource contains the article "Exponential Attrition and the Promise of Acceleration in Developmental English and Math," which makes the case that high attrition rates are structurally guaranteed in long developmental sequences and that open-access accelerated courses are a promising way to increase completion rates in college-level English and Math.

Under the LA Grad Act, four-year institutions agree to achieve certain standards in exchange for authority to increase tuition. The performance objectives are aimed at improving college completion and meeting the state's workforce and economic development needs. One performance objective - efficiency and accountability - requires four-year institutions that enter into agreements to eliminate remedial education course offerings and developmental study programs unless such courses or programs cannot be offered at a community college in the same geographic area.

The United States Department of Education has recently launched ED Data Express to make some of the Department's data available to the public. There are a variety of "views" of the data (e.g. state "snapshots," state tables), as well as the opportunity to build your own view.

Study done by CCRC on the Accelerated Learning Program at Community College of Baltimore County that is led by Peter Adams. The findings show increased student success and a reasonable investment of resources given the level of student success

Examines reasons for and ways to invest in higher education on sustainable basis. Makes recommendations in four areas: Affordability, Access, Quality and Accountability. Addresses several issues, including remedial education and completion.
