The Native Writers Digital Text Project brings the works of Native poets and writers of fiction and other prose to readers world wide. Featuring out-of-print literary efforts of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and First Nations people of Canada, the project seeks to broaden the definition of “Native Writing” not only by focusing on writers who are not ordinarily anthologized, but also by publishing works which originally appeared in “ephemeral” sources andthe periodical press, especially in those publications edited and produced by Natives.

The Humanities Text Initiative, a unit of the University of Michigan's Digital Library Production Service, has provided online access to full text resources since 1994. The Humanities Text Initiative (HTI) is an umbrella organization for the creation, delivery, and maintenance of electronic texts, as well as a mechanism for furthering the library community's capabilities in the area of online text. The collections on this site are freely available to the Internet community. Resources which are restricted to use by University faculty, staff, and students only can be found at the Encoded Text Services website.

The Electronic Press @ Georgia Tech, a GT library-managed service, will provide a digital platform to disseminate GT-produced knowledge rapidly to information users at any time, in any Internet-ready location they reside, and will preserve that knowledge digitally for future learners to come.

The University of Minnesota's Electronic Text Research Center (ETRC) has been closed. The files and projects of the ETRC are maintained here for ongoing access, but these projects are no longer active. The space which previously housed the ETRC on the second floor of Wilson Library is now home to the Digital Library Development Lab.

The Online Resource for Irish history, literature and politics. CELT, the Corpus of Electronic Texts, brings the wealth of Irish literary and historical culture to the Internet, for the use and benefit of everyone worldwide. It has a searchable online textbase consisting of 935 contemporary and historical documents from many areas, including literature and the other arts.
