    London has the pleasure of being host to the \'Magnificent Seven\' Victorian Cemeteries. They were sprawling, landscaped areas designed for the Victorians to meander around and view the dead. This pool is not only dedicated to the Magnificent Seven (listed below) but to other cemeteries also that had \'delusions of grandeur\' and ached to be part of that group.

    This series consists of photographic negatives taken by the Brown family of Eastpoint, Florida, circa 1898 to 1912. The photographs depict members of the Brown family and other early settlers of Eastpoint; scenery and buildings of Eastpoint, Apalachicola, and St. George Island; ships and boats in the Apalachee and Apalachicola Bays; local schools; and farm workers.

    This collection consists of the surviving glass negatives of noted portrait photographer Alvan S. Harper. The collection includes about 200 portraits of Philadelphia people, some identified; about 100 views of Tallahassee buildings and street scenes, along with a few from Monticello, Quincy, St. Marks, and Panacea; and about 1,300 portraits of groups and individual men, women, and children, mostly unidentified. Especially noteworthy are Harper's portraits of middle class African-Americans.
