MAD Architects unveil the design for the Nanhai Art Centre in Foshan, China. Resembling a continuous wave of water, with three main buildings looming underneath the floating sun canopy, this biomorphic building will be developed as the new public gateway on the waterfront, harmonising social, creative, and natural attributes.

Created by Daily tous les jours, an emergent field of practice that combines interactive art, storytelling, performance, and urban design to create unexpected experiences that bring strangers together in a spirit of play, cooperation, and creativity, the permanent public art installation is part of a broader vision for "Joy Experiments" - interventions designed to foster community through play.
