Zaragoza Bridge Pavilion is a symbol of Expo 2008 built on Ebro River and a British architecture named Zaha Hadid has experimented with this amazing concept covered by glass fiber concrete from Austrian Company. This stunning concept is 275 meters long and its outer skin has around 29,000 triangles made of innovative sustainable material. The structure of this pavilion promises to be the world class because of its multi level exhibition area focusing on water sustainability. Zaha Hadid has managed to create this magnificent gladiolus shape with a natural air conditioning.
"This creature's skeleton is a textbook lesson in
mechanical engineering, offering valuable knowledge that could lead to new
concepts in materials science and engineering design."
identified seven different levels of structural hierarchy in the
sponge. Each of the structural levels corresponds to a fundamental construction
principle commonly used in civil engineering and sometimes product design, but
on a scale 1,000 times smaller than a building.
when the diameter of the sponge's skeleton
increases beyond a certain point the outer structure is reinforced by ridges in
a spiral pattern.

but it seems sometimes in a 70s old project .. with no references to new architcture, next scripted one.. beautiful in some parts, unrealistic in others.. in fact this is an inspiring one. not a model... but to discuss on, it is a good beginning
