We are trying to imagine what composing will look like once the destination ceases to be paper and becomes the screen. We have been developing a pedagogy for teaching students how to compose with text, still and moving images, sound, and music. We are interested, first and foremost, in exploring these matters as a means for generating new thinking about the most serious challenges of our time. We have migrated our visual essays over from youtube.com/user/newhumanities to vimeo. Work from the first two years of the project may be found on the YouTube site.
