This is an extremely cool and useful web application, and if it hasn't been thought of before, I'm absolutely shocked, because it makes so much sense. Essentially, PHPanywhere is a web based free Integrated Development Environment or IDE for the PHP language. In other words it is a web based application that provides PHP developers a PHP code editor that mocks a desktop application, and it does so very well.

This article covers some of the more helpful and useful web browser addons, bookmarklets and favelets available today to assist the web designer / web developer with their tasks.

Time and time again I find myself trying to remember a bit of PHP or CSS code that I've used before to perform some sort of function. This is why most any web developer needs a code snippet application to archive those bits of code. In this article I bring attention to Snippley, a fantastic Adobe Air desktop application, and also Snipt, which is a web application based around a community to boot.

ProFolio is a professional ready to go portfolio that is perfectly suitable for both a personal portfolio or a more professionally oriented portfolio. Essentially anyone that wants an easy yet customizable way to display their graphical presentations such as photographs, digital art, web designs, etc would most likely be content with this software. Currently ProFolio is free, but the developers behind the software have been saying for as long as I've been aware of ProFolio that at some point in the somewhat near future they will be charging for further downloads. So, I wouldn't drag my feet too long before I gave this one a try.

Unfortunately Jahshaka hasn't seen any significant development for a couple of years now. Blender (blender.org) has much more active development, and the non-linear video editor is more advanced.

Google Chrome's team added a new releases channel for early adopters and developers: Canary builds. Unlike the beta channel and the dev channel, Canary builds can be installed without overwriting a regular Chrome build.
