Les Données Liées (Linked Data) sont un projet officiel du W3C (l'organisme qui définit les standards du web). Le projet peut se définir comme l'utilisation du web pour relier des données en rapport les unes avec les autres qui n'auraient pas été liées auparavant, ou encore d'utiliser le web pour abaisser les barrières à l'entrée (les coûts, le temps) de la création de liens (par rapport à d'autres méthodes).

Creating a consistent interface for your users is a constant struggle for every application designer. Building consistency on the web is especially tough because the visual rendering differences across browsers and operating systems are wildly different and almost arbitrary in what can and cannot be done. No where does this become more apparent than when you're dealing with form elements and the biggest loser of them all in the battle for a standardized look is the infamous Submit button.

This document lists all of the requirements (called "success criteria") from Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. It also lists techniques to meet the requirements, which link to more details. The "Understanding" links go to descriptions, examples, and resources.

The Email Standards Project works with email client developers and the design community to improve web standards support and accessibility in email. Our goal is to help designers understand why web standards are so important for email, while working with email client developers to ensure that emails render consistently. This is a community effort to improve the email experience for both designers and readers alike.

Suivre ces règles rendra les contenus accessibles à une plus grande variété de personnes en situation de handicap, incluant les personnes aveugles et malvoyantes, les personnes sourdes et malentendantes, les personnes ayant des troubles d'apprentissage, des limitations cognitives, des limitations motrices, des limitations de la parole, de la photosensibilité et les personnes ayant une combinaison de ces limitations fonctionnelles. Suivre ces règles rendra aussi les contenus Web souvent plus faciles d'utilisation aux utilisateurs en général.
