DIY Days is not a conventional study or program, its a participatory process, an immersive experience, that combines fun, play, storytelling, data and collective intelligence elements to explore topics and radical innovation. "My Sky Is Falling is an immersive storyworld that aims to raise awareness about the challenges American foster children face before they age out of the foster care system.  It is a Reboot Stories purposeful storytelling open design made with Columbia University, Orange Duffle Bag Initiative and the Harmony Institute. Released under a Creative Commons sharealike, non-commercial license, My Sky is Falling is available to those wishing to engage in purposeful storytelling and social good. The framework of the project is open and is intended to be shared and remixed."

This website is about a movie about foster youth. It has many names of foster youth that have been successful and have leadership in that community and live in the Bay Area. Might provide awesome leads for our events!!!!

Treehouse foundation are bringing forward the idea of 'Re-envisioning the Foster care system' and there is more...a Community! "Our Easthampton Community is a geographically contained, multigenerational, planned neighborhood where adoptive families, their children and elders invest in one another's lives. It is a village where children find not just parents and a home, but also grandparents, playmates and an entire neighborhood designed to help them grow up in a secure and nurturing environment."

What got my attention about 'Sanctuary of Hope' is that they work in California with young adults who have reached the emancipation program after foster care. They have shocking stats about California homeless rates of foster youth.
