Literature Review in Mobile Technologies and Learning - 0 views

  •
This is an older document on mobile learning discussing the potential of technology in the classroom. While there is no date pertaining to the publication of this document, I do not see any citations which date beyond 2003. This can be an interesting reference to look at while we ourselves are in the heart of the mobile learning age, while the authors of this are only looking at how it might be used.

iPad or Book? - 0 views

  •
iPads could help you leave a smaller carbon footprint. The production of an iPad mini has the smallest amount of carbon emission when compared to an iPad 4, air 13", pro 15", iMac 27", and Mac Pro. Also, iPad minis use much less electricity to run. Also, small tablets can help to reduce your media footprint if you do things like download books onto your iPad instead of having a hard copy.

It's Not eLearning On A Phone - 0 views

  •
This article delves into an interesting idea that reminds the reader that we must not treat mobile learning as anything we have seen before. To get the most out of this technology, we must see it as something completely new. We will probably end up changing the way we do things, but, in the end, it will be much more useful and helpful for the students.

Mobile Learning in Today's Schools - 1 views

  •
Education is no longer just pencils and paper inside a brick and mortar classroom. It's using a search engine to define vocabulary words; it's watching a YouTube video to understand the scientific method; it's taking mobile phone photos on a field trip to use in a report.
