Slides are the medium that most people default to when they need to give a presentation in person or over the web. When used correctly, slides are useful in helping you convey a message. The problem with most slide presentations is that there needs to be a speaker's voice attached to them to make them meaningful. Hello Slide is a tool that you can use to add voice narration to slides that you display online.

Through the use of these math applications, students will improve their skills with basic math facts and mental computation.  Used on a weekly basis, this apptivity has shown documented improvement in students' abilities on timed addition, subtraction, multiplication and division tests.  This apptivity is designed to be used as math centers, which the students rotate through in fifteen minute intervals over a 45 minute math period.

With PhotoCard you can make dazzling, high resolution postcards on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, and send them on-the-spot, through e-mail or the US Postal Service. The app is amazingly easy to use. To create a PhotoCard, select one of Bill's nature photos or use one of your own personal photos. Then, flip the card over to type your message. For a fun touch, jazz up your PhotoCard with decorative stickers and stamps. If you're e-mailing your card, it can even include an audible greeting. When you've finished your creation, send it off to any e-mail or postal address in the world!

Nearpod is an interesting new service that teachers can use to create, deliver, and monitor student use of educational content on iPads and iPods

The Flipped Classroom is gaining steam in schools across the world. Flipped classes focus on student interaction and engagement in class and a major component is the technology that can be used to create, deliver, and collaborate. Richard has posted on many of these tools, so I'll be sharing how I use a combination of tools in a typical unit.

iPad storyteller Joe Sabia introduces us to Lothar Meggendorfer, who created a bold technology for storytelling: the pop-up book. Sabia shows how new technology has always helped us tell our own stories, from the walls of caves to his own onstage iPad.

Pictello is a simple way to create talking photo albums and talking books on your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Each page in a Pictello Story can contain a picture, up to five lines of text, and a recorded sound or text-to-speech using high-quality voices.
