Hi, I'm Jillian! I have been crafting since I was born -- as a small child I started out with puffy paints and finger paints and I gradually grew to love all other forms of arts and crafts. I've tried pottery, cartooning, drawing, jewelry design, darkroom photography, digital photography, alt process photography, painting, weaving and many many more... some things have stuck and some have fallen by the wayside. But one thing I know is that I'll never stop creating.

I've been interested in art for as long as I was able to hold a crayon. Since then, I've been trying to find as many creative outlets as possible, whether it be painting, wood-working, drawing, sculpting, performing. I love photography in all aspects. I have been doing photography for several years now and in the past few years have even gotten into modeling for fashion and artistic shots. The list goes on and on. I studied Fine Arts at Missouri State University for 2 years, and then also 2 years at the Kansas City Art Institute. I am also Cherokee Indian and try to hold onto that culture and heritage through Native American inspired projects.

Short 'n' sweet: I recently graduated from college with a degree in Marketing and minor in Photography. I have two supportive parents and a brilliant little sister. I'm a firm believer that evolving and changing your mind and following your dreams is the best way to live.  I currently go to an art school for Communication Design. I have an online shop called Stuff Kara Made. I opened it in November 2011 with my first tee shirt line. I make tees, hand-stitched pullovers, and journals.

My name is Darby. I am a  wife and the mother of three young children and this is my blog. I love old houses, photography, renovating, interior design, sewing, flea markets, cooking,  baking, Diet Coke, Twizzlers, and eating dinner outside. I have a twin sister, whom I love living not too far from. She is an extremely talented designer and blogs HERE. I'm Elyse, the 20-something lady behind the blog, residing in Sydney, Australia. I grew up on an organic vegetable farm in a small country town, but have since moved to the city. You can find me on a weekend morning at a long lazy brunch drinking too much coffee, reading, over-thinking life, and obsessively making to-do lists! I'm a married 20 something and I live in the fine state of Minnesota, in the twin cities to be exact...Randall and I have two awesome kitties, Mr. Wallace and Stevie Beans, a parrotlet named Stella Blue,  and a rescued pomapoo Piper. By day I'm a fiscal policy analyst but on lunch breaks and at night I blog and sometimes I attempt to craft.  I love Dinosaurs, going to museums, and I am a photography addict.
