I'm Elyse, the 20-something lady behind the blog, residing in Sydney, Australia. I grew up on an organic vegetable farm in a small country town, but have since moved to the city. You can find me on a weekend morning at a long lazy brunch drinking too much coffee, reading, over-thinking life, and obsessively making to-do lists! I like big things like art exhibitions, sewing, vintage fashion, photography, documentaries and travel... but I also like little things like toasted blueberry bread, fresh flowers, notebooks and wine.

Welcome to Here&Now, my repository of daily record for the routine and remarkable. When I entered graduate school in August of 2009, I didn't know that I was entering a special sort of time continuum. Somedays I long to be a "college student" once again, while others, I look forward to the day when I am officially a "grown-up". However, for the time being, I am neither, and I have recently decided I am ok with that.

I'm a 24-year-old fashion marketing grad with a love for sewing, photography, food, and ghost stories. I like dressing up (even when I'm dressed down). I also have a slight obsession with bows and cupcakes. And sometimes shoes.

This blog has become a cluster eff of all things I love: style, fashion, beauty, inspiring music, and frankly...anything else that sparks my interest and I want to share! I am passionate about animal rights and a vegetarian.  Over the past few years I've really gotten into Vintage everything and I love a good thrift store hunt and find.  I make up words a lot and add cutesy things to the end of normal words that I want to make prettier...also I am easily excitable, unendingly (too) honest and have a ridiculously short attention span. I may or may not be hyperactive. I love a lot of things... I'm a married 20 something and I live in the fine state of Minnesota, in the twin cities to be exact...Randall and I have two awesome kitties, Mr. Wallace and Stevie Beans, a parrotlet named Stella Blue,  and a rescued pomapoo Piper. By day I'm a fiscal policy analyst but on lunch breaks and at night I blog and sometimes I attempt to craft.  I love Dinosaurs, going to museums, and I am a photography addict. 

Hello, my name Is Abbie Espinosa.Thoughts run trough my mind all the time, though I prefer to express them trough writing. One thing I will always be in love with is Music and Trees. Society will judge me based on what they think they know about me. How I look, what I like, what I listen to, what I watch; those things do not make up the person that I am. How I treat others, how I treat myself, what I do for the well being of others is what makes ME.

The owner, Jamie Symmonds, grew up in a small town in Western New York.  In 2001, she grew wings flying off to the city of angels, Los Angeles, where she developed a true appreciation for her sense of fashion and style.  She then decided to head back to New York, the big apple, bringing with her LA's fabulous fashions.  Angel to Apple opened in May of 2006 and has continued to grow and evolve, which includes the launching of our new website, which will offer great fashions to women of all ages, everywhere.

This blog is primarily about fashion with a few other random things thrown in for good measure. Its about plus size fashion specifically and not really about body politics. I'm not anti diet or pro diet- your body is your business and its not my place to tell you what you should weigh (although I think I occasionally do rant a bit about not beating yourself up over every extra half pound). It is my place though to tell you that whether you weigh 100lbs or 300lbs you should make sure you look fantastic at all times!

I am a fat positive fashion blogger and excessive dresser located in Yorkshire, UK. An avid vintage enthusiast and DIY seamstress with a love for all things thrifted, handmade or on a sale rail, she set up her blog Fatty Unbound in 2009, after becoming frustrated with the lack of budget friendly, body positive, and politically conscious fat fashion blogs. With her blog, she aims to challenge bodily hierarchies and notions of privilege within mainstream fashion circles through a mixture of outfits, strategies, craft tutorials and personal histories, all designed to normalise fat bodies and celebrate body diversity in fashion and beyond.

I am a 24-year-old part-time writing instructor and part-time technical writer. My love of writing led me to blogs, which led me to a wonderful group of women carving a space for themselves on the internet. The fatshion blogging community has opened my eyes to the confidence, power, and joy in embracing yourself as you are. I have always been in love with fashion but I was born on a Native American reservation where it was not available. Growing up I looked through my mom's fashion magazines for inspiration, then I created outfits with what I had in my closet. When I left the "Rez" and moved to the "City" I went crazy for fashion! If I had to categorize my style, I would call it classically chic with a touch of glam/drama. In an effort to inspire my fellow full-figured women, I decided to share my style through this blog. Our behavior with a toddler cannot be carried on with a little grown up child and similarly the same behavior cannot be continued with a teen-ager. We have to keep our attitude very flexible than being a rigid one while tacking the children.
