Hello there and thanks for reading Gal Meets Glam! I'm Julia, a 21 year old recent college graduate living in the San Francisco area. I created Gal Meets Glam as a way to chronicle my personal style, love for color  and beauty tips in hope to inspire others to take that extra step to incorporate some glam  into their everyday life. Hello! my name is tieka. (tee-kuh)i reside in lovely michigan. i blog about personal tyle, trips and adventures in life. 

Our mom's family is from Cajun country in Louisiana. Our dad's family is from southern China. Mix the Cajun and the Asian together and you get AsianCajuns! And that's us. Technically we are part Creole and not actually Cajun (our ancestors came from France directly, not via Canada where the actual Cajuns come from), but AsianCreole doesn't have the same ring, does it?

This blog has become a cluster eff of all things I love: style, fashion, beauty, inspiring music, and frankly...anything else that sparks my interest and I want to share! I am passionate about animal rights and a vegetarian.  Over the past few years I've really gotten into Vintage everything and I love a good thrift store hunt and find.  I make up words a lot and add cutesy things to the end of normal words that I want to make prettier...also I am easily excitable, unendingly (too) honest and have a ridiculously short attention span. I may or may not be hyperactive. I love a lot of things... I'm a married 20 something and I live in the fine state of Minnesota, in the twin cities to be exact...Randall and I have two awesome kitties, Mr. Wallace and Stevie Beans, a parrotlet named Stella Blue,  and a rescued pomapoo Piper. By day I'm a fiscal policy analyst but on lunch breaks and at night I blog and sometimes I attempt to craft.  I love Dinosaurs, going to museums, and I am a photography addict.
