I'm just a girl working at a desk by day & living in a dream world by night. In 2008, I moved back to my hometown to begin a new job in the corporate world. For the better part of 2 years I struggled to mesh my personal style with that of the "real world". Born out of my love for style blogs and a little self-motiviation to assemble fun and fresh office appropriate outfits, 26 and Counting was created. While I may not be 26 anymore, this little corner of the blog world, my contribution focuses on inventive everyday fashion for professionals who may {on occassion} find themselves feeling a little creatively constricted by their corporate environments.

9to5Chic.  This is my way of expressing personal style at work while still dressing within the standards/expectations of my industry.  And it wouldn't be a personal style diary unless I shared some fun weekend outfits when I'm off the clock too.  If it were true to it's name, this little blog would be 8-to-8 Chic.  But that just doesn't have as nice of a ring, does it? 

I'm a bona-fide cat lady, homebody, wanna-be writer, and faux extrovert. If I'm not gardening, I'm rehearsing for a local theater production. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and work in a business casual office downtown.

A Pair & A Spare is a chronicle of Geneva's day-to-day addiction to Do It Yourself fashion, where she shows you how to create the most desirable and on-trend fashion and lifestyle projects. Originally from Brisbane, Australia and now living in Hong Kong, Geneva believes in a sustainable approach to fashion and revels in making old new and on-trend using sewing, beading, studding, refashioning and a host of other projects. Proving that DIY Fashion can  complement traditional fashion ideals, Geneva also posts a weekly DIY tutorial over at Harper's BAZAAR Australia and was recently featured in an eight page spread by Cosmopolitan Magazine Australia.

About Me Angelica. It means bringer of good news. I try to embrace that. Fashion for me is an individual expression of the inner being that you are. It reflects facets of your personality - your favourite movie, the food you enjoy, your favourite singer, the people who you hang out with and what you think about when you're lying in your bed alone at night and staring at the ceiling. One day I hope to work for Teen Vogue. That is my ultimate dream. However, for now I am learning the ropes in the fashion world. Designers, models, styles, clothing, and sewing - the list goes on. Never be afraid to stand out because it shows people that you are unique and not one of the many crowds. I love Taylor Swift. She is my hero and biggest inspiration. I love my Mom because she is everything to me and I get my style from her. Although, most people say I should have been born in the sixties because I rock a good hippie/bohemian outfit. God is my rock. Jesus is my Saviour not my religion. I fell in love with the man who died for me. God is the one person I can always turn to and He'll always be there for me, no matter what. Time, space and distance don't count. I am where I am now because I love Him and He has done so much for me. I continue to walk in His Destiny for me.
