This blog is primarily about fashion with a few other random things thrown in for good measure. Its about plus size fashion specifically and not really about body politics. I'm not anti diet or pro diet- your body is your business and its not my place to tell you what you should weigh (although I think I occasionally do rant a bit about not beating yourself up over every extra half pound). It is my place though to tell you that whether you weigh 100lbs or 300lbs you should make sure you look fantastic at all times!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME: Hi! My name is Katie. I'm a home schooled senior in high school, self proclaimed Doctor Who fanatic, and Northern gal with a hillbilly heart. I'm really rubbish at writing these "about me" things, so instead, I'm going to share with you ten random facts about me:

Name: Nic nic  - it's short for Nicola :) You can call me Nic nic or Nic Age: I'm 27 :P Location: Japan, Tokyo - British Born Chinese from UK :) I'm all about achieving real, wearable makeup looks. Some girls are mad about eye makeup, some lipsticks - me, the complexion! I love blushes and I'm always in search of the next best base makeup product. I am obsessed with perfecting the skin - either with makeup base or just good skin care. Read this blog if you want to follow my journey about this!

I always hate writing the "about me" bits on websites, but I guess it's kind of necessary. My name is Kelsi, you might have already figured that out by now. So, let's see… about me: From 1984-2002 I lived in a small town in Northern California. From 2002-2012 I lived in the beautiful, magical city of Seattle, WA, where I went to cosmetology school and worked as self-employed professional hairstylist for eight years. Now I'm heading to the midwest (Oklahoma City to be precise) to live with one of my best friends for a while and change up my life! Hey everyone! My name is Charlotta Grönberg. I'm 24 years old, I study social psychology and psychology as my major and minor in communication as well as work part time. I live with my three lovely guinea pigs, Papu, Karkki and Kaneli, and my chihuahua puppy, Lexi.  I am a Swedish-speaking Finn, my mother tongues are Swedish and Finnish. The most important things in life, to me, are a safe and warm home, my pets, my friends and family and I dream about doing what makes me truly happy; helping other people. About Me Angelica. It means bringer of good news. I try to embrace that. Fashion for me is an individual expression of the inner being that you are. It reflects facets of your personality - your favourite movie, the food you enjoy, your favourite singer, the people who you hang out with and what you think about when you're lying in your bed alone at night and staring at the ceiling. One day I hope to work for Teen Vogue. That is my ultimate dream. However, for now I am learning the ropes in the fashion world. Designers, models, styles, clothing, and sewing - the list goes on. Never be afraid to stand out because it shows people that you are unique and not one of the many crowds. I love Taylor Swift. She is my hero and biggest inspiration. I love my Mom because she is everything to me and I get my style from her. Although, most people say I should have been born in the sixties because I rock a good hippie/bohemian outfit. God is my rock. Jesus is my Saviour not my religion. I fell in love with the man who died for me. God is the one person I can always turn to and He'll always be there for me, no matter what. About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.).
