I'm just a girl working at a desk by day & living in a dream world by night. In 2008, I moved back to my hometown to begin a new job in the corporate world. For the better part of 2 years I struggled to mesh my personal style with that of the "real world". Born out of my love for style blogs and a little self-motiviation to assemble fun and fresh office appropriate outfits, 26 and Counting was created. While I may not be 26 anymore, this little corner of the blog world, my contribution focuses on inventive everyday fashion for professionals who may {on occassion} find themselves feeling a little creatively constricted by their corporate environments. 

9to5Chic.  This is my way of expressing personal style at work while still dressing within the standards/expectations of my industry.  And it wouldn't be a personal style diary unless I shared some fun weekend outfits when I'm off the clock too.  If it were true to it's name, this little blog would be 8-to-8 Chic.  But that just doesn't have as nice of a ring, does it? 

I'm a bona-fide cat lady, homebody, wanna-be writer, and faux extrovert. If I'm not gardening, I'm rehearsing for a local theater production. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and work in a business casual office downtown.

About Me Angelica. It means bringer of good news. I try to embrace that. Fashion for me is an individual expression of the inner being that you are. It reflects facets of your personality - your favourite movie, the food you enjoy, your favourite singer, the people who you hang out with and what you think about when you're lying in your bed alone at night and staring at the ceiling. One day I hope to work for Teen Vogue. That is my ultimate dream. However, for now I am learning the ropes in the fashion world. Designers, models, styles, clothing, and sewing - the list goes on. Never be afraid to stand out because it shows people that you are unique and not one of the many crowds. I love Taylor Swift. She is my hero and biggest inspiration. I love my Mom because she is everything to me and I get my style from her. Although, most people say I should have been born in the sixties because I rock a good hippie/bohemian outfit. God is my rock. Jesus is my Saviour not my religion. I fell in love with the man who died for me. God is the one person I can always turn to and He'll always be there for me, no matter what. Time, space and distance don't count. I am where I am now because I love Him and He has done so much for me. I continue to walk in His Destiny for me. I've been interested in art for as long as I was able to hold a crayon. Since then, I've been trying to find as many creative outlets as possible, whether it be painting, wood-working, drawing, sculpting, performing. I love photography in all aspects. I have been doing photography for several years now and in the past few years have even gotten into modeling for fashion and artistic shots. The list goes on and on. I studied Fine Arts at Missouri State University for 2 years, and then also 2 years at the Kansas City Art Institute. I am also Cherokee Indian and try to hold onto that culture and heritage through Native American inspired projects. 

Bri Emery entertained an early passion for design and typography by keeping inspiration journals of curated images torn from magazines and scotch taped together. Her enthusiasm for simple yet effective execution grew into a lifelong love for quality and creativity, so with a work ethic as strong as her smile is bright, Bri graduated from FIDM with a degree in Graphic Design / Branding, and very quickly earned a reputation as the go-to gal for innovative and stylish design. She consistently brings fun and fresh creative solutions to every project, infusing them with her signature charm and clever eye for color. Calling Los Angeles home, when she's not in her office she can be found brunching, thrifting, and thinking how deep down, she really just wants to be Jazz singer.

I always hate writing the "about me" bits on websites, but I guess it's kind of necessary. My name is Kelsi, you might have already figured that out by now. So, let's see… about me: From 1984-2002 I lived in a small town in Northern California. From 2002-2012 I lived in the beautiful, magical city of Seattle, WA, where I went to cosmetology school and worked as self-employed professional hairstylist for eight years. Now I'm heading to the midwest (Oklahoma City to be precise) to live with one of my best friends for a while and change up my life! My namesake blog is the story of my life in New York and a document of my personal style. Since starting as a hobby in 2010, my site now has a readership of over 87,000 a month and has featured in publications including Grazia Magazine and style.com.  Having started my fashion career in London, a year's travel sparked a wanderlust which led me to Australia, where I discovered a country teetering on the brink of creative explosion. I now live in New York where I work in social and digital media for luxury fashion brands.  

Marianne I like pretty things and when people look at the camera in fashion blogs. After becoming a mom two+ years ago, my body and style started to change, and so, I am left...struggling. And trying on lots of styles that I wouldn't have touched before, because I don't know what works on my body any more. This leads to sometimes hilarious results, and sometimes surprise successes, all of which I am willing to document and post for your enjoyment. My personal style is undergoing a bit of a sea change at the moment. In the past I've leaned towards whimsy, loving anthropologie, Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore. However now I find myself wearing more black, grey, khaki. More structure. Since having a baby I can't abide by flowy dresses or tops because they remind me too much of maternity clothing. I would rather wear something structured even if my stomach is not exactly flat. I still love Marc Jacobs and anthropologie, I just like different styles. I would like to build a forever wardrobe of things I will still want to wear in 10 years. Pleased to meet you!

About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.). This website is all about empowering women - to give them fashion without the frills, that hopefully you can use and apply to your life in a very practical way. Hey everyone! My name is Charlotta Grönberg. I'm 24 years old, I study social psychology and psychology as my major and minor in communication as well as work part time. I live with my three lovely guinea pigs, Papu, Karkki and Kaneli, and my chihuahua puppy, Lexi.  I am a Swedish-speaking Finn, my mother tongues are Swedish and Finnish. The most important things in life, to me, are a safe and warm home, my pets, my friends and family and I dream about doing what makes me truly happy; helping other people. On this blog I share my personal style, and sometimes share photos of my daily life or talk about what's going on in general. Welcome to my blog, Hopeless Notebook. I started my blog on January 1st, 2012 when I noticed that a friend of mine had started her own blog. Her blog was so adorable and fun, and I knew I could come up with something equally as fantastic, thus Hopeless Notebook was born!      Hopeless Notebook is a lot of things : a fashion blog, a lifestyle blog, a place for pictures, DIYs, inspiration, and everything in-between. Sometimes there will be silly, happy stories, sometimes there will be sad ones, and other times there will be lots of whining, but this blog will always be 100% truthfully me. ♥♥♥      As for me, I'm a college girl trying to make her silly, outlandish dreams come true. I currently live in sunny Florida, but as soon as college is said and done, I'll be packing up with my mister and moving far, far away. We'll be moving to North Carolina where I plan on opening up my own dress boutique, and possibly doing a bit of graphic design work on the side.      My mister's name is Garrett, and we've been together since our freshman year of high school.
