I've been interested in art for as long as I was able to hold a crayon. Since then, I've been trying to find as many creative outlets as possible, whether it be painting, wood-working, drawing, sculpting, performing. I love photography in all aspects. I have been doing photography for several years now and in the past few years have even gotten into modeling for fashion and artistic shots. The list goes on and on. I studied Fine Arts at Missouri State University for 2 years, and then also 2 years at the Kansas City Art Institute. I am also Cherokee Indian and try to hold onto that culture and heritage through Native American inspired projects. 

I'm a writer, events manager and social media bod interested in fashion, both vintage (unsurprisingly) and streetwear (more unusually), as well as sports and healthy lifestyles. Always creative, and a lover of language, I started out as a traditional marketing copywriter, slowly moving from company to company to try and find that perfect role, always the most strangely dressed in the department (and in the creative sector, that's saying a lot). In the summer of 2009, I was made redundant and decided to strike out on my own, and I've been doing so ever since, living on my wits. Also quite a lot of marmite toast. And gin.

Marianne I like pretty things and when people look at the camera in fashion blogs. After becoming a mom two+ years ago, my body and style started to change, and so, I am left...struggling. And trying on lots of styles that I wouldn't have touched before, because I don't know what works on my body any more. This leads to sometimes hilarious results, and sometimes surprise successes, all of which I am willing to document and post for your enjoyment. My personal style is undergoing a bit of a sea change at the moment. In the past I've leaned towards whimsy, loving anthropologie, Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore. However now I find myself wearing more black, grey, khaki. More structure. Since having a baby I can't abide by flowy dresses or tops because they remind me too much of maternity clothing. I would rather wear something structured even if my stomach is not exactly flat. I still love Marc Jacobs and anthropologie, I just like different styles. I would like to build a forever wardrobe of things I will still want to wear in 10 years. Pleased to meet you!

About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.). This website is all about empowering women - to give them fashion without the frills, that hopefully you can use and apply to your life in a very practical way. Hey everyone! My name is Charlotta Grönberg. I'm 24 years old, I study social psychology and psychology as my major and minor in communication as well as work part time. I live with my three lovely guinea pigs, Papu, Karkki and Kaneli, and my chihuahua puppy, Lexi.  I am a Swedish-speaking Finn, my mother tongues are Swedish and Finnish. The most important things in life, to me, are a safe and warm home, my pets, my friends and family and I dream about doing what makes me truly happy; helping other people. Hi Everyone! Thank you for visiting jenloveskev! This blog has been around since 2006 when Kev and I got married and moved to Hawaii. Over the years it has documents our adventures in married life as we have moved around and gone through some major life changes. Last June I left my High School Art teaching job to get ready to welcome the birth of our first little one. On September 12th 2010, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Rowan Winter into the world. Life changes but I will always love my family, fashion, cooking and art. Jenloveskev is a place where I document that all.
